DAY 1
After breakfast you will head to Puno, making some interesting stops on the way. You will visit the famous Inca temple of Pachakutec, which was built in honor of god Viracocha. Later, you will cross the pass of La Raya (4,360 meters) which marks the end of the Cusco region and the beginning of the Altiplano. You will take a stop in the small village of Pucara, which is famous for its unique handicrafts. After your arrival in Puno, you will be brought to your hotel and can explore the vibrant city by yourself.

DAY 2
The next two days you will get to know the legendary Lake Titicaca and its unique islands. In the morning, you will be brought to the harbor. There, you will take a motorboat to the floating islands of Uros. The inhabitants of these islands speak the indigenous language Aymaran and are known for their extraordinary way of life: they use the natural material reed not only as a foundation of their artificial islands, but also for their boats and houses. After lunch you will continue your trip to the natural island Amantani. You can take a short walk along the paths and climb up to the archaeological sites Pachatata (Father Earth) and Pachamama (Mother Earth). Reaching the top at 13,550 feet (4,130 meters), you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Bolivian Cordillera Real and Lake Titicaca. In the afternoon we return to the city of Puno.

DAY 3
Early in the morning you will start an amazing excursion to Aramu Muru. Along the way you will visit the “Temple of Inca Uyo” or “Fertility Temple” in the colonial town of Chucuito, which was considered a very important religious and sacred place. Continuing your journey along the beautiful shores of Lake Titicaca, you will arrive at Aramu-Muru or “Hayu-Marka” in Aymara, which literally means “Town of Spirits”. It is an outstanding construction and your local guide will explain to you more about its historic information. You will have free time to feel the energy of this sacred place before your return back to Puno.
