We are committed to the universal code of “Sumac Kausay” which refers to a harmonious collective wellbeing and comes from the Andes and Amazon cultures. It is a way of living in harmony within communities, ourselves, and most importantly, the cosmos, nature and all existence.
Sumac Kausay is the path of life, where everybody understands the deep meaning of living well and internalizes that the detriment of all beings is the deterioration of the whole. This is why we make it our mission to coordinate our actions and travel experiences in a human, respectful, sustainable and collective way.

Since childhood, my father influenced me to know and pass on the knowledge of our ancestral cultures, the essence of our Andean ceremonies and the benefits of Amazonian medicine. Travel and Healing was born from that same desire to share traditional knowledge, traveling to energetic places, enjoying the beautiful destinations offered by our country.
I was born in a small village in the province of Acomayo, which is located in the southern part of Cusco. I moved to Cusco when I was 16 years old to study tourism and to become a professional tour guide because I was fascinated with the idea of sharing my culture with others. I started to work at Travel and Healing in 2012 and I experienced many amazing things being part of the team.
I was born in Checacupe, a small town located in Canchis. I came to Cusco to study Accounting and I started working at Travel and Healing to support them in the area of accounting and administration. Traveling is one of the best pleasures in life, especially when I travel with my family and friends. Each trip is an opportunity to discover new cultures and experience soul-feeding adventures.
I was born in a small village called Catcca close to the Ausangate Mountain. After studying Tourism, I started to work as a professional tour guide and experienced the beauty of traveling. I am passionate about showing my country to the world and providing unique travel experiences based on our ancestral knowledge, which also enhanced my personal life a lot.
I am 38 years old and was very young when I moved to Cusco city, looking for a better future. After studying Tourism, I became a Tour Guide and love to teach travelers everything about my culture and country. Travel & Healing has always treated their staff very well and I am so grateful for all the wonderful conversations, the professional training and for giving each of us guides the opportunity to grow.
My name is Gaby and I live in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. I've been a tour guide for more than 5 years now. I love to share my culture with travelers from all over the world and have had many adventures with them, hiking in the rain, in the snow, in the sun, and much more! My job is unique and it makes me happy to live these wonderful travel experiences.
Do you want to know more about our Paqos and Healing Masters from Peru? We are collaborating with lots of different Maestros because each of them has a different specialization.
My grandfather was the one who taught me this ancestral wisdom. One day I got very sick because the left side of my body was dead, so I went to the hospital, but nobody could help me. My wife found out that in one moment of my life I was hit by lightning that made me get very sick. I was able to completely heal myself, since then I have healed many people with my personal experience.
I am 40 years old and I come from the Qeros community. Since I was very young, my father taught me this ancestral knowledge, and I have been involved in it since the moment I was born. I am Pampamisayoq and I know everything about my ancestors, spiritual customs and culture, which helps me a lot in my life. I want to teach everything I know to people all over the world.
I have over 50 years of experience as a Paqo (teacher). My ancestors were shamans as well and have been passing their wisdom to the next generation. Since my father passed away, I have the mission to maintain the ancestral knowledge of my lineage. My ancestors have a unique healing method based on the knowledge of energy flow and prayers with stones of wisdom.
We believe in our Inca ancestors’ profound wisdom – reciprocation. Every journey paid by our travelers, we pay it forward by donating 12% of what we earned to our friends from Human Actions, a foundation which is helping the Andean children in poverty to access to better education; empowering the elders to become teachers for transcending ancient wisdom; fostering stray dogs in a well-equipped shelter.
Our team has developed different social programs and welcomes volunteers from the world to become part of it. We also support the local association Sonqo Heart For Others with their reforestation project in Pucallpa. You can decide which project you want to support with your Travel and Healing journey! Just leave us a message after your booking and we will do the rest for you.
